Chromogranin A

Description

This antibody cocktail recognizes a protein of 68-75 kDa, identified as Chromogranin A antibody. The combination of LK2H10 and PHE5 is specifically designed for sensitive detection of Chromogranin A in formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded (FFPE) tissues. Chromogranin A is present in neuroendocrine cells throughout the body. It has been shown that Chromogranin A is an excellent marker for carcinoid tumors, pheochromocytomas, paragangliomas and other neuroendocrine tumors. Chromogranin A may be a useful tumor marker to aid in predicting the extent of neuroendocrine differentiation and the time to recurrence in prostate cancer.
